Ryo Yokoyama (Graduate School of Science and Engineering) Receives FIT Incentive Award at FIT 2017

From September 12 to 14, 2017, the 16th Forum on Information Technology (FIT 2017) was held at Tokyo University, where Ryo Yokoyama of the Graduate School of Science and Technology (Major of Information and Computer Science) received the FIT Incentive Award.

Yokoyama proposed the immobilization of the display position of a flick guide as a way to reduce the cognitive load when using a software keyboard on smart devices. He verified the effectiveness in reducing incorrect input and improving input speed by conducting experiments with young and old adults.
