Ryo Furukawa (Graduate School of Science and Engineering) Receives Best Presentation Award at the Symposium for Student and Young Researchers of the 3rd JSMS Materials WEEK

On October 10 and 11, 2017, the Symposium for Student and Young Researchers was held as part of the 3rd Materials WEEK of the Society of Materials Science, Japan (JSMS). At the event, Ryo Furukawa of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering (Major of Mechanical Engineering) received the Best Presentation Award.

Furukawa has investigated the impact of the ECAP method on the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloy from an organizational perspective using SEM and EBSD analysis. His systematic study of the relations of factors that affect the corrosion resistance, as well as his responses during the Q & A session, was highly commended for the award.
