Research Topics
Our lab is interested in the cells that are responsible for inflammation and fibrosis in all types of liver disease. We focus on understanding the molecular pathogenesis of liver disease and the genetic basis of liver disorders as the foundation for improving prevention and treatment of liver disease. We are particularly interested in 1) hepatic fibrosis 2) liver cancer and 3) transplant rejection.
