Research Topics

Human Informatics and Systems Laboratory (HISL) carries out research with the mission of promoting human well-being, focusing on the following research topics:

- Elucidating the mechanisms of human cognitive functions based on brain function measurement and information processing (Brain Informatics)
- Developing human-friendly systems based on biological information, including brain activity (Neuroergonomics)
- Developing artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques for medical image diagnosis and drug discovery (Biomedical and Medical Information Processing)
