Research Topics

Biological information consists of physical and chemical information. At this laboratory, we investigate biological information from both physical and chemical approaches.
Specifically, we conduct the following:

• Elucidation of the effects of biological transmitters and physiologically active substances, and development of synthesis and microanalysis methods for these substances;
• Elucidation and application of chemical reactions (enzyme reactions) carried out in vivo; and
• Acquisition, analysis, and application of physical information mainly from the sonar systems of bats.
